Despite nothing being locked in yet, given many news articles lately including Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern confirming plans for a trans-Tasman bubble are under way, Qantas appears to be betting on this happening, and is selling trans-Tasman tickets on their website.
Of course, covid-19 could spike, hotspots could grow, but for now at least, Qantas appears to be optimistic about Christmas travel ‘across the ditch’.
