Bonza’s first plane touched down at MCY (Sunshine Coast) this morning. It was spotted leaving Boeing Field (BFI) a couple of days ago:
Congrats @BonzaFly on your first delivery! I’m sure she and her future siblings will be quite happy down under 🙂 VH-UJT — the airline’s first @Boeing 737-8 — departed BFI at 4:40 p.m. local time as AB001. Hooray for new airlines and new airplanes! pic.twitter.com/yRjH87VRcv

You’ll note the airline code of AB – the officially defined IATA code, which works as ‘Air Bonza’ but also their claimed business model of flying A to B, with no C.
Bonza has eight 737s on order with five to arrive in the first batch followed by three more next year.
The airline will have two bases – at Sunshine Coast Airport and Melbourne Airport and their initial routes are across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales.
Bonza’s currently announced destinations are: Albury, Melbourne Avalon, Bundaberg, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne Tullamarine, Mildura, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba Wellcamp, Townsville, and the Whitsunday Coast.
They will be connected by at least 27 routes.
