Guess what’s back? The Qantas Hotels triple points bonanza! You can now snag a whopping 9 Qantas Points for every dollar you spend on hotel bookings. If you’re quick, you can make the most of this from August 19 to August 25, 2024, for stays all the way until August 25, 2025.
Some exceptions:
Normally, bookings at Accor hotels through Qantas get you 4 points per dollar. So it’s not quite triple for these.
If you were thinking about using your points on Classic Hotel Rewards, you might want to rethink that as these bookings won’t earn you any bonus points.
And sorry Airbnb lovers, this deal is strictly for hotel bookings only—no extra points for Airbnb stays.
For those of you in the Points Club and Points Club Plus, you’ll still get your usual bonus on top. That’s an extra 25% for Points Club members and a whopping 50% more for Points Club Plus members.
Now as to whether it’s a good deal. Sometimes it’s cheaper to book direct, and definitely do a price compare on Beat That Flight as there may well be other suppliers (or hotels) on sale.
