In the heart of Christchurch, immediately across from the Christchurch Art Gallery is the Orari Boutique Hotel.
The heritage-listed stately home, which was built in 1893, has undergone substantial renovations and includes contemporary conveniences like air-conditioning in every room.
The Orari Boutique Hotel offers a variety of guest rooms, from small and intimate to large and spacious.
There is either an ensuite or or external private bathroom for each guest room.
Just approximately 700 metres from the property is the hugely popular Riverside Market with its many dining and bar options (we recommend Empire Chicken!). The Orari Boutique Hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the Canterbury Museum, Botanic Gardens, and The Arts Centre. The distance to Christchurch International Airport is 20 minutes by car, or an easy bus ride.

Carnmore Hotel Christchurch
The Carnmore Hotel Christchurch is rated 8.9 by guests. It embodies contemporary style and innovation and enjoys a prime location just a short stroll from the city’s centre and close to many of Christchurch’s famous sites. Nothing is too far from the hotel due to the ease of access to the major arterial routes running north and south.
The hotel provides 88 tastefully furnished, well-appointed rooms with all the contemporary conveniences and services you would anticipate from a four star city centre hotel.
The accommodation is modern, colourful, and bright with lots of natural light. The rooms are colourful, 22 square metres in size, and provide views of Christchurch and the surrounding area. You can choose between a king bed room and a twin bed room.

Parkview on Hagley
In the heart of Christchurch, sits Parkview on Hagley overlooking the beautiful Hagley Park. At walking distance of the City, this 4-star hotel offers spacious suite-style accommodation, free wifi, and free parking.
The large guest rooms all feature an open-concept sleeping and sitting area in addition to a kitchenette. Private balconies with views of the park are included in a lot of the rooms.
All visitors can take a stroll at any time of the day in Hagley Park, which is across the street from the hotel. Christchurch is renown for this park as it’s a really massive, beautiful green space in the centre of the city.
The city centre, Westfield Riccarton Shopping Mall, and the Events Center can all be reached on foot from Parkview on Hagley. All of which make this hotel not only a comfortable stay but also ideally situated for many of the city’s attractions.

The Grange B&B
The Grange B&B is rated 8.8 by guest reviews. It is located in a Victorian home constructed in 1874, and offers a complimentary gourmet breakfast.
It provides free off-street parking, free Wi-Fi access and is a 5-minute walk from Cathedral Square, the Convention Center, and Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu.
The beautifully and uniquely-decorated rooms include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a tea/coffee maker. A hairdryer and complimentary amenities are provided in the private bathroom.
Services for dry cleaning and laundry are available. On sunny days, visitors can relax with a BBQ in a garden setting.
The Arts Centre and the Botanical Gardens are both within walking distance of The Grange B&B. Hagley Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away, while Christchurch Airport is a 17-minute drive away.
The cool art deco New Regent Street is also within walking distance.
