Hawaii is expensive to stay, very expensive! Honolulu and especially Waikiki, the famous beach area, are notoriously expensive to stay, especially at the resorts. You need to hunt for deals and bargains, if that’s what you’re after – but they are there! Here are some of the best rated ones we’ve found for under AU$265 a night.
Polynesian Residences Waikiki Beach

The Polynesian Residences Waikiki Beach are only one block from the renowned Waikiki Beach and 20 minutes’ walk from both the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium.
In addition to the air-conditioned studios and suites with free WiFi, private lanai balconies, most rooms are fully-equipped with kitchenettes with 2-burner stovetops. They also have microwaves, mini-refrigerators, together with a coffee maker, a toaster, and utensils, cookware, and dishware. The remodelled rooms are modern and comfortable. The rooms also feature a flat screen TV with cable channels.
There are coin-operated laundry facilities on the property. Visitors can take advantage of the yoga and hula courses or
